Maximize Outcomes With Vivace® Radiofrequency Using 1MHz
Aesthetics Biomedical’s Vivace® 3D Treatment Protocol is designed around the use of 1MHz radiofrequency (RF), to deliver the best and most consistent results, but we are also pleased to be able to offer the 2MHz as a treatment option.
Multiple studies indicate using the 1MHz with an insulated microneedle will deliver the results both the patient and physician are looking to achieve. The end goal results both the patient and physician are looking for is to eliminate fine lines and percutaneous wrinkles with minimal pain and little to no downtime. Vivace® is the preferred radiofrequency for skin rejuvenation.
To put in perspective, the 1MHz radiofrequency has double the voltage as compared to 2MHz. A higher voltage delivers more clinically relevant energy to the epidermis that in return stimulates collagen growth.
Research findings suggest the 1MHz insulated needle produces larger areas of electrocoagulation as the power level increases. When compared, 1MHz produced larger coagulation areas than 2MHz. This may be due to the greater wave period at 1MHz compared to 2MHz, allowing a higher voltage and current density gradient to move through the plated microneedles, enabling the electrocoagulation effect to radiate for a longer distance. For this reason, a 2MHz is the preferred for prejuvenation.
