BEAUTY EQUALS THE RIGHT PRESCRIPTIVE COMBINATION TREATMENT PLAN

Vivace Experience® is a minimally-invasive cosmetic treatment that works by creating microscopic channels deep into the skin, followed by the delivery of RF thermal energy. This treatment stimulates the production of collagen as the body repairs itself, providing a contouring and tightening effect. Fine lines and wrinkles are also reduced, creating a smoother, more rejuvenated appearance. It is an effective prejuvenating and rejuvenating choice for many patients and can be prescribed as a primary treatment, or bundled in combination with many non-invasive aesthetic options.

With a self-care movement on the rise and the desire to look healthy, fresh, and natural, aesthetic providers are increasingly utilizing non-invasive combination treatment protocols as an approach to best maximize results for patients. These combinations of minimally-invasive procedures can offer synergistic effects and postpone the need for surgeries as well as produce natural-looking results for an extended period.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is one of the hottest growing trends in the medical aesthetics industry.

The Vivace® Microneedle RF treatment combined with PRP is a popular and growing trend. According to Dr. Lawrence Rheins, Chief Science Officer at Aesthetics Biomedical, “Platelet Rich Plasma continues to gain traction for aesthetic professionals in two particular clinical areas, “hair restoration and aging facial rejuvenation.”

Dr. Rheins further explains that “PRP contains platelet granules with over 1,000 growth factors and biomolecules that are critical for normal homeostasis and tissue regeneration”. Autologous growth factors serve as the ideal choice for facial rejuvenation and considered the “ultimate personalized cosmetic product.”

When paired with a Vivace® Microneedle RF treatment, PRP is applied immediately post-treatment in place of Boost Serum and left on the skin for several hours. This all-natural product provides an immediate “soothing effect” and helps in the reduction of redness and swelling. The use of PRP is intended to further stimulate collagen and elastin post-treatment. The Soothe Mask can be given to the patient to apply later at home, while the Boost Serum can be used in the evening and following morning. Both the Soothe Mask and Boost Serum are post treatment products contained in the Vivace Experience® designed to enhance results of RF microneedling and improve overall appearance of the skin.

A “PRP facial” or “Vampire Facial®” typically refers to microneedling, with PRP used topically post treatment. The combination of RF microneedling with PRP is a perfect pairing of non-invasive complementary treatments that maximize healing benefits when used in combination. Due to the wound healing mechanism role that PRP contributes to the body, the topical application of PRP is becoming a popular choice for post aesthetic procedures, including but not limited to microneedling, RF microneedling, plasma pen treatments and post ablative laser treatments.

The process of preparing PRP is easy and completed in less than 20 minutes. After a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient, the blood is spun in a centrifuge, separating platelets from red and white blood cells.

Recently, a new product has been introduced to the aesthetic industry that harnesses the power of PRP in a daily, personalized autologous skincare product, SoME® Skincare. SoME® Skincare is a topical anti-aging skincare product that uses a patented blend of ingredients that can be combined by a physician with a patient’s PRP offering a truly personalized cosmetic experience.  Learn more about this new adaptation of PRP by clicking here.
